If The Ramones had a kid with Soundgarden and it was raised by Iggy Pop, the chances are Patrick Doval would be that child. The younger brother of Axl Rose, there is a gruff edginess to Doval’s sound; however, amidst the gruff, there is a rich soothing slithering through the song. This is my introduction to the US-based singer-songwriter, but Doval is already turning heads internationally reaching far beyond his North American borders.
